Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Responsibilities

  • Designing and implementing ABA treatment programs for children with autism
  • Supervising and mentoring Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)
  • Training staff and client caregivers
  • Overseeing data collection
  • Reporting on progress to ensure the highest level of care

Requirements

  • Master's Degree
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst® (BCBA®) certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • Pediatric Experience
  • Crisis management and trauma-informed care experience
  • Familiarity with Data Collection Software
  • CPR certification

Physical Requirements

To successfully perform the essential functions of this role, candidates must be able to meet the following physical standards:

  • Safety & Crisis Response: Ability to perform sprinting and quick pivoting motions to respond to client elopement (running) and ensure safety.
  • Lifting & Mobility: Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Static Postures: Capability to withstand prolonged periods of sitting and standing, including extended time working at a computer.
  • Dynamic Movement: Frequent walking, bending, reaching, and transitioning between different physical positions throughout the day.
  • Stamina: Ability to sustain high levels of energy and focus during continuous client appointments lasting a minimum of 3 hours.
