Occupational Therapist (OT)
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to help our pediatric clients build the skills they need for the 'job of living.' From conducting deep-dive evaluations to crafting creative, play-based interventions, you will play a pivotal role in helping children, both neurotypical and neurodivergent, gain independence. Responsibilities
- Conduct standardized pediatric assessments to identify developmental, motor, and sensory needs for children with and without autism.
- Develop and implement evidence-based intervention plans tailored to each child’s unique functional goals and daily living activities.
- Provide targeted therapy for fine motor development, sensory processing, and self-regulation across a diverse pediatric population.
- Coordinate with BCBAs and SLPs to ensure a cohesive, multidisciplinary approach to client care.
- Provide direct training and education to families and caregivers to facilitate the carryover of skills into the home environment.
- Maintain accurate and timely progress notes and evaluation reports in compliance with professional and insurance standards.
Requirements
- Master's Degree
- Texas Occupational Therapy license
Preferred Qualifications
- CPR certification
- BLS certification
- Crisis management and trauma-informed care experience

Physical Requirements
To successfully perform the essential functions of this role, candidates must be able to meet the following physical standards:
- Safety & Crisis Response: Ability to perform sprinting and quick pivoting motions to respond to client elopement (running) and ensure safety.
- Lifting & Mobility: Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Static Postures: Capability to withstand prolonged periods of sitting and standing, including extended time working at a computer.
- Dynamic Movement: Frequent walking, bending, reaching, and transitioning between different physical positions throughout the day.
- Stamina: Ability to sustain high levels of energy and focus during continuous client appointments lasting a minimum of 3 hours.
